MontanaCans supporting children's tree planting project in western Kenya. The idea was to plant trees, grow fruits and vegetables for self-suffiency of the Nyota Day Care Centre. The Centre was built to provide parentless children a safe environment and contribute to a positive personal development.

This year the Montana-Team was once again made aware of this due to our ongoing contribution and involvement to a initiative in Kenya called, “Nyota - for children in Africa”. This project gives orphans a future and with the help of the money donated, they can get a school education allowing them the chance to have a better life and a brighter future, that which we all take for granted. Nyota´s aim is help for selfhelp.

The planting session was a lot of fun for the orphans and the whole Nyota team. They are looking forward to continue this project on a new piece of land which was bought recently.

Montana supported a tree and fruit tree planting project on the Nyota site which will contribute toward self-sufficiency of the Nyota Day Care Centre. Alex, one of our Team members who is also working volunterily for Nyota was there to help the project and to capture some impressions.

Nyota e.V. is a small German-Kenyan organisation based in Germany/Mannheim. All members work voluntarily, every single euro donated is spent on the children's projects.
