Since early 2008 online platform Art Bastard presents young international artists with an urban art-background as well as an art-calendar with events & exhibitions and galleries working in this scene.

Now they are taking it from the internet to the real world!

For the first Art Bastard Event in Hamburg on october 24.& 25., they have teamed up with Hamburg based Comité84 who have been organizing notorious parties in Hamburg for the past 5 years!

On friday and saturday from 3 - 5pm, urban artists McBess (UK), Ciah Ciah (Poland), Kid Cash (Berlin) & Sebastian Otto (Hannover) will paint live at the location close to the Deichtorhallen. Go check them out and doing their thing and stop by for some arty small talk.

The event will reach its peak on saturday night when the created art is exhibited in the same location and some hip dj’s spin some records at following “Art Show & Party”!

The Urban Art Biennale “Graphopoli” was celebrated from 10th to 20th of July 2008 in Puerto Rico. The event was curated by Celina Nogueras Cuevas and the Museum of Art Puerto Rico(MAPR). The artist where chosen from allover the island and they were challenged to transform giant scale structures into fascinating urban landmarks. The High&Mighty Shop Stuttgart was organizing a MONTANA Session at the Hip Hop Open Festival in Stuttgart, germany.

Hip Hop Open is one of the biggest festivals in hip-hop culture.

They always have a big line-up and many side events representing all elements since year 2000!
